Retail giant, ASDA chose  Metal-Kote to protect and extend the life of its massive 4000 sqm profiled metal roof system at its South Woodham Ferrers store in Essex.

Metal-Kote is a highly advanced refurbishment solution designed to refurbishand improve the aesthetic appeal of profiled sheet metal roofing and cladding. Manufactured by Acrypol Products, a company with a well respectedreputation for quality and innovation in the roofing industry, Metal-Kote isincreasingly being chosen by specifiers and building owners needing a cost-effective way to dramatically extend the life of an existing metal rooffor a fraction of the cost of total replacement.

Specified for the ASDA store in South Woodham Ferrers by London basedcontractor, Roof-link Industrial & Commercial Ltd, Metal-Kote was sprayapplied to the building’s roof areas as part of a refurbishment contract whichrevived the original profiled metal roof, making it look and perform as new –for a fraction of the cost. Although black was chosen for this contract, Metal-Kote is available in a wide range of standard colours and any RAL colour –subject to order.

Requiring just one coat, Metal-Kote achieves extremely fast coverage andcan be either brush or spray applied. It meant that the ASDA store couldsafely remain open to customers throughout the operation. The product offersfurther financial savings in labour costs when compared with totalreplacement.There is also no need to remove failed materials, which can be costly and logistically awkward.
